The
AirChip 3000 - a probe with active intelligence
At the heart of the
HygroFlex 3 is the newest innovation from
ROTRONIC, the
AirChip3000.
Using the newly developed
AirChip 3000 which compensates the humidity sensor at 30,000 reference points,
the HygroClip2 provides for significant improvements in accuracy and repeatability.
The
AirChip3000 can do even more, including self-diagnostics.
If sensor accuracy declines significantly, the
AirChip 3000 recognizes the problem and will issue an alarm.
It also combines within itself an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit), a micro-controller and a non-volatile, electronic memory (EEPROM).

transmitter is designed for fixed installation
in cost sensitive commercial HVAC applications where conditions are within the range of 0 to
100 %RH and -40 to 60°C.
The HF3 will satisfy
application requirements ranging from the most
basic to demanding.
The HF3 transmitter is available in different
configurations and has an extensive set of
settings and functions that can be configured and enabled with the
ROTRONICHW4
software after connecting the
HF3
to a PC.
In spite of its sophistication, the
HF3
can be used just as a simple conventional
humidity and temperature transmitter.

The Rotronic engineers have managed to make the
HygroFlex7 even better than its predecessor.
For
example, the HygroFlex7 with cable mounted probe can
withstand temperatures of -100 ° to 150 ° Celsius
whereas the wall version can be integrated into
applications covering the range of -80 ° to 100 °
Celsius.
The
humidity range is 0…100% RH. The humidity accuracy:
± 1% RH; The temperature accuracy within ± 0.2K.
The model range is available as a wall, cable and
duct version and with the optional HW4 software,
many useful functions can be activated, such as an
automatic sensor test or drift compensation.
In
addition to that, the output signals are freely
scaleable.
