Non destructive moisture meter for wood

Non Destructive Moisture Meter for fast, easy and accurate measurement of moisture in wood and finished wood products without the need to damage or scratch the surface. Operating on the advanced method the Wood Moisture Encounter offers deep measurement penetration, instant readings and a specific gravity adjustment to cater for different species of wood.

The Wood Moisture Encounter is easy to use but advanced in design and incorporates the latest technology for the measurement of moisture, giving many practical and worthwhile facilities such as:

Non Destructive: no pins to damage or break the wood.
A dialable specific gravity adjustment from 0.4 to 0.7 allowing direct measurement of a large number of different wood species without having to look up adjustable charts or tables.
Clearview digital LCD dial giving readings in 1% increments.
Hold reading facility allowing reading to be held until it can be recorded.
Temperature sensor and readout for better accuracy of measurement when operating outside normal temperatures.
Automatic power off after 4 minutes to eliminate risk of leaving meter switched on when not in use.
Standard battery powered and pocket size.
